1996 to 1998

OPERATION SMART

• Started in Richards Bay as a project administration and resource administration tool. Was used in projects completed at Alusaf and Richards Bay Minerals.
• Was advanced to accompany a CRM  (Customer Relationship Management) module and was implemented into a company in Rivonia, Johannesburg to manage sales calls and detailed information relating to clients and potential clients.
• Development of a basic Document Management system and a Service Management system.

OPERATION SMART

• The application was advanced to a full CMMS and Human Resource system.
• Worked at Siemens by sub-contractors during the course of a facilities management contract.

OPERATION SMART

• The application was implemented at Vodacom during the course of a facilities management contract to manage all projects and associated maintenance;
• In 2007 the application was completely re-engineered in order to make it much more generic for the market.
• In 2008 the new application was tested at a partnering company, debugged and advanced wherever necessary.
• In 2009 Tonesat was started as the I.P owners of the application and the main distribution channel.
• Since 2009 several successful sales have been made with companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Specpharm, CDT, Kutama Prison in Louis Trichardt, Medscheme in Rooderport and several other smaller companies.
• In 2010, the application was advanced to compile it's 22 maintainable levels into one register called an MSI Register. As new technology became known OPERATION SMART was altered to accommodate many of these new features, thus the release of OPERATION SMART 2010.
